I invited my cousin, Alana, over for a picnic this week before she heads back to OK for school. What a great excuse to craft, talk and enjoy the wonderful weather we had today!
I finally had an excuse to make the glass jar drinks! Simply cover the top of a jar with mod podge and paper, then punch a hole through the top with a hole punch! Slip in a paper straw and you're good to go!
Our picnic spread
I loved incorporating so many of the crafts I've worked on lately! Chalkboard frames, cupcake wrappers, toppers, jars, and of course the doily bunting!

ok, that glass jar glass is genius! love the idea of keeping the lid and punching a hole for a straw! And, you can make the lid match whatever colour theme you want! Again, genius.
Looks amazing! I totally crave a picnic now
Seriously that's the cutest most fun picnic ever! Your creativity kills me!
Jar drink is a great idea, and I LOVE that doily bunting! The spread is adorable.
I am kind of starting to resent you for moving away before we became friends. I mean... I have been pondering who to have over for a tea party for about a month now, and you are clearly the perfect candidate...
Super cute idea - love it! Thanks for sharing :-)
What a great idea! Not only does it look cute...it would help keep the bees away!
I <3 the drinks in a jar! So clever! (: And the cupcakes look awesome, totally gonna try this out with a friend soon!
