My car is 12 years old, and its been on MANY a road trip so I was looking for a quick fix to brighten my headlight up! It was hit a couple of years ago in college, so my other headlight looks shiny and new from being replaced. I like to think of it as "winking" at me.
I tried the trick of putting toothpaste on your headlights, to help buff out some glazed over dullness:

It didn't work QUITE as well as I had hoped. I used a crest with scope tube, and a towel and went to town on it. It helped a little, but it was also misleading, if it gets wet, it looks clearer than it actually is. So I waited for it to try, and snapped a photo!
Proof that it does work SOME, but not as great as I'd seen people rant about online. But all in all, it was cheap, took about 5-10 minutes, and helped....so I can't complain really!
